St.Paul, MN
U+B was hired to remodel the administrative offices at the College of Food, Agriculture and Natural Resource Sciences at the University of Minnesota in the 1906 Coffey Hall building located on the St. Paul campus. The goal of the renovation was to update the many decades of renovation work at the south end of the first floor to allow for more open offices and more specifically to allow for greater access to natural light into the central office area. Also accommodated in the design is a new student commons area open to the corridor which is well-loved by students to study and collaborate. Rounding out the project, U+B assisted the Capitol Planning team with a corridor refresh including new signage, wall art and seating. This project was a successful design-build collaboration with Gardner Builders who completed the project over the summer months and in time for the Fall 2019 school year.
