The Truth Bar

The Truth Bar is a shared space where members – employees, clients, and special guests of our client – are welcome to come work, have meetings, or host events. Located on a highly public ground floor of a downtown Minneapolis tower, the unconventional meeting space is directly below the owner’s company headquarters on the floor above. U+B was tasked to create an atmosphere outside of the typological office where employees and clients feel free to share ideas and challenge each other, all in the name of doing something bigger, smarter, and bolder in an effort to find the truth – a core piece of our client’s philosophy. The interior contains chandeliers from an old Las Vegas casino and a full bar built from reclaimed wood of an English library compliment an inviting and collaborative atmosphere. The outcome is a space that is not about avoiding work, but about working smarter. “It’s hard to think outside the box if you’re stuck in a cubicle all day”.
