Assoufid Hotel

Drawing inspiration from indigenous Moroccan architecture in both building style and in siting strategy, our design for the Assoufid Hotel and the Assoufid Golf Clubhouse embrace traditional cultural details. The facilities sit gently within an existing olive grove, embracing southern views of the Atlas Mountains while the large roof overhangs protect patrons from the heat of midday sun. Elegant indoor and outdoor terraces offer seating at the signature La Colline restaurant while a private member’s lounge provides members of the club with a serene and relaxed hideaway.
A true example of international collaboration, the U+B team worked in concert with an internationally recognized golf course design team from the Bahamas and landscape architect from Munich, Germany to create a successful facility immersed in traditional Moroccan cultural details. www.assoufid.com
