Edie Sebesta, Partner, AIA

Edie’s approach to architecture and design combines a passion for problem solving with a dedication to discover the essence of each project she has the opportunity to work on. She looks forward to every challenge in the design process and how obstacles can be embraced to make a project unique. A true advocate for each client’s individual interest, Edie brings creativity and a drive to understand existing systems and conditions to seek the best possible outcome for each client’s distinct site, program and budget.

A first-generation Polish American, Edie graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Master of Architecture.  She was afforded the opportunity during her studies to spend several semesters studying in Poland.  This included a semester at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, one of the oldest Universities in Central Europe. Edie has been a vital member of the U+B team since shortly after the firm’s inception and has deep experience working on a wide range of project types to include residential, hospitality, commercial and educational facilities.

Edie enjoys exploring new restaurants, reading, painting and spending time with her two children and husband.  During the warmer months, she can be found boating, fishing and relaxing in the beautiful Minnesota Northwoods.
