Paul Udris, AIA

Paul's interest in architecture is shaped by a voracious appetite for travel, study of world architecture and a belief that a deep knowledge of the local environment, site and culture is essential for creating poignant and useful design. As the son Latvian immigrants, Paul grew up with a keen appreciation of the wisdom from other worlds to move beyond conventional solutions. Whether working on projects local or abroad, Paul constantly draws on his diverse set of knowledge and experiences to create outstanding designs.

Paul received his Master's Degree in Architecture from Yale University. He was the recipient of numerous academic awards and fellowships including insert here. While at Yale, Paul worked with Habitat for Humanity to design and build low-income housing in New Haven, Conn. He then went on to work with prestigious architectural firms on both coasts such as insert names, as well as Chicago and Minneapolis.

Paul founded U+B Architecture & Design, Inc. with Mark Burgess in 2003 with a mission to create exceptional, budget-conscious design in a fun and collaborative work environment. A native of Massachusetts, Paul moved to Minnesota in 1996 and lives in Golden Valley with his French wife, two children and a crazy Labrador.
